A premium site on Webflow and Shopify store for Walrus Wellness

Context
Walrus Wellness is a premium brand that needed a website able to communicate quality and trust instantly, while also preparing a solid foundation for international selling. The core challenge was to combine a high-end, fully custom front-end with a robust ecommerce engine for payments, shipping, and global operations.

Brand overview
Walrus Wellness relies on premium codes: clarity, precision, product detail, and strong perceived quality. The website had to translate this into every element: typography, layout rhythm, product visuals, finishes and variations, and reassurance content (delivery, warranty, key information).

UX design
I led the UX process end-to-end: zoning, wireframes, and key user flows. The focus was on reducing friction and clarifying the path to purchase through better information hierarchy, simpler navigation, and stronger conversion touchpoints. Special attention was given to critical steps: discovering the offer, understanding options (finishes/variants), trust-building, and calls to action.

Art direction and UI design
I defined the art direction and designed the UI with a “premium first” approach. The visual system was built to support high-end perception: clean grids, controlled spacing, elegant typography, product staging, and consistent micro-details aligned with the brand positioning.
Webflow development
I built the site in Webflow with a focus on execution quality: responsive precision across breakpoints, performance optimization, and clean integration of interactions. The goal was a fast, stable website that remains easy to evolve over time.

Animations and premium experience
Animations were used as a branding tool: subtle transitions, progressive reveals, and lightweight interactions that improve content flow without impacting speed. The intent was not “effects”, but controlled motion that reinforces premium feel and guides the user naturally.
Shopify ecommerce integration (In progress)
The ecommerce layer is currently being integrated to connect a custom Webflow front-end with Shopify and ShopifyFlow. This setup is designed to deliver the best of both worlds:
- Webflow for full control over design and content
- Shopify for a powerful commerce backbone (product management, payments, worldwide shipping, markets, taxes, and currencies)
The final goal is a scalable, international-ready store while keeping a fully bespoke, premium brand experience.
Outcome
A premium, conversion-oriented website built to elevate the brand and support international growth: custom design, structured UX, strong performance, and refined animations, with a Shopify ecommerce foundation currently in progress to enable worldwide selling at scale.
