Character illustrations for Solutions & Territory

Solutions & Territory is a SaaS company specialized in the analysis and support of local authorities. During the redesign of their website, I had the opportunity to add a creative touch by creating a series of tailor-made illustrations. The objective: to give life to the different user profiles (elected officials, urban planners, economic actors, CIOs) and to make each journey clearer and more human thanks to a coherent and modern graphic universe.

To support the redesign of the site of Solutions & Territory, I was tasked with designing a series of tailor-made illustrations designed to embody the different user profiles.
Each character corresponds to a specific category (Elected, Urbanism, Economic Development, Information Technology) and has a dedicated page in the site. In these pages, visitors discover the problems specific to their role as well as the solutions proposed by the platform. So illustrations don't just serve as decorative visuals: they help Tell the story and to guide the user along the way.
Creative process
The graphic work was carried out on Adobe Fresco (for research and sketches) then refined in Illustrator (for cleanup and vector optimization).
Each character has been designed tailored based on the precise descriptions provided by the Solutions & Territory team, in order to correspond to their target and their discourse. The objective was to translate into images the scenarios and challenges experienced by their users.

Style and artistic direction
The approach is inspired by the graphic universe often used on the web to represent stylized characters, but with a custom touch and a finishing work that reinforces the uniqueness of the brand.
The illustrations are distinguished by clean and refined lines, which ensure immediate reading, and by differentiated colored areas, allowing each profile to be quickly identified. Each scene is designed contextually in order to tell both the characters and the blocks of the site in which they fit.
Thus, visuals fulfill a double function: humanize the platform by giving a face to typical users, and structure the content by making the pages clearer, more narrative and adapted to each profile. This tailor-made work made it possible to create a strong visual and editorial coherence, while improving the user experience.

Conclusion:
These illustrations are not simple decorative elements: they structure navigation, embody the different profiles and reinforce the understanding of Solutions & Territory's messages. Thanks to a tailor-made, modern and coherent style, they bring a human dimension to the platform and facilitate the identification of each path.
The result is a lightweight, efficient and scalable visual system, which fully supports the mission of Solutions & Territory: to make territorial data accessible and useful to all local actors.
